Funny Pants

When Afton has a poopy, we often say that she is stinky pants. Somewhere along the line she must have realized that we were using the word pants after stinky to refer to her of course . . . stinky pants. She is so smart and realized that she can apply this pants suffix to other things to give them more emphasis. Without us ever saying anything but stinky pants, she has now started saying, "haha I funny pants" or, "hehe you silly pants", and last but certainly not least, "I happy pants." We are surprised that she has not yet applied this to one of her favorite words; smart. That is really the only one that makes sense, "smarty pants," but instead she sticks with the ones that make no sense. The best is when she says funny pants, you can tell that she really really thinks she is indeed funny pants by the huge grin on her face.
