I guess around this age kids become aware that they have feelings, emotions, and are in fact their own person. This summer, Afton has definitely come into this stage!
"I Aton", "I want", and "NOOOOO!" have been very common words for this cutie.
She LOVES to pretend like a big girl. . .
She will only let her dad give her a bath. There are tears and "Out, Out" when I give her a bath, but with daddy, there are laughs and giggles the whole time.
She walks up to ANY animal without fear. These goats were rough housing with each other about 5 feet from Afton and she still wanted to go pet them. She even tried to ride one of them! She is brave as brave can be when it comes to animals BUT a group of kids is the most frightening thing ever! She HATES nursery and hardly moves at the park!
She has also become a picky eater. She definitely ALWAYS has an opinion about what she wants to eat. Luckily, she likes healthy foods-and we are trying to make her pick something already on the table- so far so good but we are worried it might get worse.
I have always been known as a "strong" personality. I think Afton is going to be just the same. . . I just hope I can teach her as well as my parents taught me.
Love her. Charlie has been talking about Afton a lot so he has enjoyed the I Aton post. She is a doll.
