we experienced our first snow fall here in Colorado. It was 80 degrees on Monday and this is what it looked like Wednesday morning! Apparently, it was a pretty big storm. It seemed decent but nothing to fuss about- it seemed pretty typical for Idaho!

we started a tradition of baking cinnamon rolls on the first day of snow. They were pretty delicious and I am not going to mention how many I ate.
We freaked out when we realized Afton had no snow clothes! We went to the Goodwill to find something and couldn't believe our eyes when we saw this beauty! We probably laughed for a good half hour over Afton in this thing. We love the way it makes her look as wide as it is tall. We love the big, flat behind it gives her. And the bright red vintage floral is just the icing on the cake! We are going to have fun this winter!

Afton loved it too!
we'll look for a matching snow suit for savannah--or just see who can have the most "original!" pretty funny...glad to see colorado is dumped in snow and rexburg isn't. then again, we'll have you beat in november, december, january, february, march, april...may?
ReplyDeleteHilarious, seriously, you should have called me before you bought anything, I think I have a snow outfit in her size:) But, I think you found something even better:)
ReplyDeleteHaha...Love the snow suit! Miss that cute face, and yours too!!! Love you all! I can't believe you already have snow! Also love the new blog update. Looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat snow makes me a little sad. I need more fall and I am sure that is on it's way here sooner than later. Love the snow suit. We have one from the 80's that has the same shape it is just all blue-you really found a winner. Just so you know cinnamon rolls are my absolute favorite-I would choose fresh ones over pretty much anything-thanks for the craving I can't fill. JK
ReplyDeleteI was seriously laughing out loud when I read your narration of the "puffy bum" snowsuit while looking at the pics haha. The great thing about Afton is that she's so cute that she can make anything look stylish.
ReplyDeleteWe bought an ugly jumpsuit similar to that at the DI as well. There is a picture on our blog, Zack and I too laughed forever as he walked around in it, gotta love it!
