Christmas Vacation

We were so lucky to go home to Idaho for Christmas for two whole weeks!
It was the first time we traveled home for the holidays.  Before now, we lived in Idaho and didn't have to travel to see our family.  Kenton and I hadn't noticed how much closer we have become since we have been in Colorado but going home really showed us how much of a family Kenton, Afton and I have become.  And ya know what- I like my little family!
Going home also made us realize how blessed we are to have SO many amazing family members.  We were often overwhelmed as we sat back and realized how blessed we are.  Since being away, we have realized how rare it is to have so much family- but even more rare is it to have so much family that you truly do love!
We know that happiness comes from living the commandments of God- and our families are great examples of that.
It was such a blessing to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all our amazing family around us.  We can't believe we are so lucky!

This will be picture overload but I think it is fitting because this holiday season really was overloaded with fun!
