Afton absolutely loved the little plexi-glass bubbles that you could go underneath and look up into the water and see everything. She spent a good amount of time under them and they are so low that we couldn't go get her out, so she stayed as long as she wanted.

This is Brittney cutting the head off of the shark bench. You can still see his teeth though, so you get the idea.

Other than the Jelly Fish which you'll see below, our favorites were the stingrays and the sea turtles. However, we did get a little scare from one of the rays. There was one place where you walk through a tunnel and are surrounded by water on all sides. A stingray came from above us when Afton was not paying attention and swam right along the glass about an inch from her face. This is where the stingrays turned from fun to not so fun. She insisted on being held through the rest of the tunnel. (Although Afton didn't see the humor, the people beside us thought her reaction was pretty hilarious)
An interesting factoid as pointed out by the Aquarium specialist "nerd alert" when she heard us calling them stingrays: they are not actually stingrays, their stingers have been removed and therefore "we" simply call them rays.

As you can see. Afton was mesmerized by the jelly fish. You can't buy that kind of joy!
p.s. the jelly fish were at the end of the Aquarium and Afton kept asking for them the entire time. I am not sure why because she had never seen them before- must have been good friends in the pre-existence.

These are the neatest pictures!! That is a place we would love to go, someday when we come and visit you. We miss you guys. Keep those posts and updates coming.
