Afton: On Sunday we were in Fast and Testimony meeting and you said, "I want to bear my testimony TODAY". We were kind of shocked because we haven't really ever talked to you about it before- or even about what a testimony is.
We suggested that we talk about it more over this month and then you could bear your testimony next month but you insisted on bearing your testimony NOW.
Daddy took you out in the hall and briefly talked to you about what a testimony is, gave a few suggestions of what you could say and how you are suppose to say it.
He then walked with you up to the front of the chapel and helped you wait your turn in line. You looked back at me to wave- and you looked SO grown up!
You gave a beautiful testimony! You talked about how grateful you are for your family and how you love to ready scriptures every night. You did it all by yourself- and I was so proud of you!
