WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!

It's Official, Kenton and I are engaged! ah!
We got engaged Tuesday, November 25.
Here is the story. . .
First of all, I have to say that we picked a ring out a while ago but Kenton had me believing that he hadn't bought it yet. When the jeweler showed me the ring for the first time he said that it had been ordered in for someone else. I figured Kenton would need to order it and that it would take at least two weeks to get in (we have friends who have been waiting on a ring for five weeks). Needless to say, I had NO clue he even had a ring to propose with!
Kenton asked me on an official date. With no money, official dates are always kind of hard so it was definitely a special event. To start the night off, Kenton cooked me a dish he learned how to make on his mission. It was pretty elaborate with details including his mom's china and sparkling champagne. He had me carry my plate and follow him to the basement. I soon discovered a candle lit table.
After dinner, we went to get dessert at the place where we had our first date but, they were closed so instead we went to ice cream at the place we first went when he got home from his mission.
Kenton and I have this little inside joke about taking girls to the river for romantic things.
So. . . Kenton took me to the river that we first went to when he got back. We started talking and soon Kenton pulled out a poem he had written for the date. Since we wrote for two years, we developed a tradition of writing poems on special occasions. The poem was all about firsts. He made me read it aloud. As I read I started to catch on. The last four lines said:

So there is only one more first that I would like to mention to you today
So please just turn the page right now and see what this poem really has to say
The first time I will kiss someone as not a single, but engaged man
Will be in a couple of seconds when I put this ring on your lovely hand.

To which point he got down on one knee, said some cute stuff, and asked me to marry him! ah!

We will be married on February 21st in the Rexburg Temple!

Here's the ring. . .

I love it! Almost as much as I love my man! haha.
