But, when I talked to the landlord before we came, I made sure that there were washer/dryer hookups and that we would be able to bring our washer & dryer.
It was very clear that we would have a problem the first time we saw the tiny closet we were suppose to put our washer and dryer in, it was obviously meant for a stack-able washer and dryer! (isn't it a given that washer/dryer hookups are full size unless specified? I guess lesson learned on that one)
We called Lowes to see what we could do to get our full size washer and dryer to become stack-able. They said there was a kit for it and so we ordered it. It came today and we don't know what they were talking about because it didn't quite work. Yes, it allows us to stack the dryer on top of the washer, but, WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE KNOBS???
Here is our solution to the problem!

(notice the knob bar thingy hanging on the left. The cables that connect the knob bar thingy to the washer are very short so this is literally are only option)

and here is the proud man himself. He figured it all out, carrier the dryer up the stairs all by himself, lifted it to go on top of the washer, etc. etc. Basically, he is THE man!
And as THE man, you get to pose in whatever way makes you feel most manly in your accomplishment shots...

noticed the dryer lint stuck to his shirt...

(yes, Brittney on the camera- i stink!)
Thanks my love for going to all this effort so that I can wash my clothes at home in my underwear and I don't have to worry about going ALL THE WAY to the laundry mat, deal with quarters and all that jazz. You seriously are my hero!
p.s. Kenton keeps opening the door to the closet and saying, "isn't it a beauty. I can't believe we actually made it work."
Brilliant! What a smart, smart, sick posing man. Now what if you would have had a top loading washer, I would have liked to see your solutions for that!
