I can't do, I just can't do it! Life is a little crazier than expected and I just don't have the time/desire to post EVERY SINGLE DAY (can you tell, lately I have been struggling).
So, I'm tyring something new- because remembering this crazy & fun time of life is SUPER important to me!
NEW GOAL: Break out the camera more than I would normally do. When I think, "I really should take a picture of this"- I'm going to do it instead of just ignoring the thought like I usually do!
Then, I will post a weekly recap on Sundays- that's a little more manageable for the time being!
Here we go:
Emme: We let Daddy sleep in on Saturday (it hasn't happened in a long time because he is so nice and lets me sleep in lately). I took you in with me to wake him up- I figured you would both love it- and you did!
You have a special place in your heart for Daddy. I'm cool and I know you love me, but its just not the same as the feelings you have for your Dad. And I don't mind, you are pretty darn cute together. See...
You really do know how to climb down from things. You used to climb off the bed all the time. But one day you decided it was too far and now you just hang off things like this as you yell for someone to come help you.
This one looks a little justifiably too far- but when climbing off the coach,
I just don' see how you can't see that you are centimeters from the ground!
I went to get you out of bed this morning and you were sitting there so patiently waiting for me.
nap time.
Afton: These are the pictures I got of you this week. Needless to say, you are a little sick of all the pictures Mommy is taking of you lately.
We got you a bike this week. I have been putting it off for a while because you weren't interested in the least. But, sometimes you are a little too much like me and you need a little nudge to try new things so we went ahead a gave you a big nudge. We let you pick out a bike and she even has a name- Lil Gem (the cheapest Wal-Mart bike there was). I thought I would be a good mom and let you ride it to preschool on Friday. It took us 30 mins to get to preschool (at a house down the road from us). You were a trooper and did an awesome job even thought I could tell you would have rather walked. By the end of the summer, we are going to have you biking- its our goal!
