Pop.

These two could not be more different.  They are pretty much total opposites.
Surprisingly, they play really well together...most of the time.

Sometimes Emme loves to punch Afton's buttons- and Afton totally lets her.

Afton is DEATHLY afraid of balloons popping (all loud noises for that matter but we seem to come in contact with balloons most frequently).  It's more than just a hate thing, it's a real deal fear.  If she finds a balloon in our house or at a party, she immediately brings it to me and tells me to get rid of it.  She HATES them.
Emme LOVES balloons- especially popping balloons.  What does she call said balloons? Pop!  That just shows you how much she loves to pop those things.

This week we somehow ended up with a balloon in our house.  Its been a battle ALL WEEK LONG.  Afton will find it and immediately want it hidden.  "Hide this so Emme won't pop it she says!"  So I hide it in the coat closet.  Then I open the closet to get something and Emme immediately cries for the "pop".  She gets a hold of it and throws it around.  She shakes it every which way, goes in an out of doorways, drags it along chairs- all while Afton is screaming "Don't let her pop it!  Don't let her pop it! Put it away!"

It's war here folks!  The balloon is still around (because I keep forgetting to pop it while they are asleep).  This week we might see who ends up winning this one.
